Maybe it’s because it’s summertime. People are on vacation and are looking for a good read to take to the park, the beach, on the plane, or just snuggle up with on the sofa. Whatever the reason, downloads of “Venerable: The Price of Paradise” and “Viceroy: The Cost of Peace” are on the rise. Thank you to those who have taken the plunge!

Now it’s time to express yourself. Share your feelings and opinions about the books by posting a rating and review on Amazon. It only takes a few minutes, and it is extremely helpful to other readers in deciding if these stories are for them. And it helps the writer further hone his craft so that future titles will be even more entertaining and compelling.

Book reviews are a form of literary criticism and can be written by readers or professional book reviewers. The latter reviews tend to be much longer and can include a summary and a critique of the book. Reader reviews tend to be more brief, personal, and focus on the individual reader’s experience while reading the book. Since readers can have such widely differing views of the same book, it is valuable for all involved when a book has a variety of reader reviews available.
